The back pages meet the front pages this morning, with many newspapers including a cover shot of a victorious Man City side celebrating as they become the new Premier League champions.

In an eclectic spread of headlines, The Independent leads on a coma patient threatened with deportation from the UK, The Daily Mirror gives its front page over to the suffering of Yemen’s children, and Metro pays tribute to “heroes” who rushed to lend a hand after a private plane crashed on a dual carriageway in Wales.

The Times and The Guardian take different spins on the progress of cross-party Brexit talks, while the Daily Mail leads on Tesco boss Dave Lewis’ call for taxes on web giants like Amazon to “save” the British high street.

In other CEO news, City AM’s front page focuses on the downfall of Arcadia chief Philip Green, no longer a billionaire after a year of financial and personal tribulation saw his fortune halve.
